Washington D.C. – The Council for Citizens Against Government Waste (CCAGW) named U.S. Representative Sean Duffy (WI-07) a “Taxpayer Hero” for the first session of the 113th Congress. Rep. Duffy offered his thanks and re-affirmed his commitment to promoting a limited government:
“I am honored to be named a “Taxpayer Hero” by CCAGW and I thank them for recognizing my efforts to reform President Obama’s bloated, big government agenda. I stand committed as ever to reigning in the Administration’s overreach. I will continue to reform the way Washington does business and support legislation that promotes job growth instead of government growth.”
CCAGW President, Tom Schatz, praised Rep. Duffy for his efforts offering, “On behalf of the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste, I would like to congratulate you on being named a Taxpayer Hero for the first session of the 113th Congress.
You received a score of 81 percent in CCAGW’s 2013 Congressional Ratings, a true testament of your willingness to stand up for American taxpayers.
“The 113th Congress has presented many legislative challenges. I look forward to continuing to work with you to increase transparency, minimize waste, permanently eliminate earmarks, and reduce the ever-growing national debt.”
