Most people agree that the Republican Party has to make significant changes to be viable in 2010. The elections of 2008 were a wake up call the the RINO leaders in the Republican Party who abandoned their base to appeal to the moderates voters. Now on June 22, 2009 ~ just 6 months into the Obama Presidency, the country is facing a doubling and possibly tripling of our national debt, Cap and Trade legislation, government health care, and Democrat controlled senate and congress that with the presidents leadership has put us on the fast track to socialism.
Now, more than ever, conservatives are looking for a true leader that will inspire and lead the Republican Party back to conservatism, free market economics, and a solid defense of our country and people. We are not interested in leaders who are walking down the center of the road to be seen by those on the left and the right. We want…no, we need a true conservative to step up and be a leader. To make the tough decisions and the right ones.
Chris Wallace, on Fox News Sunday – June 21, 2009 – interviewed Congressman Paul Ryan and referred to him as a “Rising Star” in the Republican Party. Congressman Ryan is a fiscal conservative for sure and one of the more outspoken Congressmen that have an actual plan for our economic issues that don’t end in Socialism.
Many names are being discussed like Tim Pawlenty, Bobby Jindal, Sarah Palin, and Paul Ryan, but are these “conservatives” conservative enough or too conservative? These are the questions facing the “Rising Stars” amongst the Republican Party.
Unfortunately, the economy is only small part of the issues our Country faces. Protecting our Country is also a major concern, especially with North Korea, Iran, Cuba, Venezuela, and China seeing President Obama as a weak leader that can easily be manipulated.
What do you think? Give us some feed back on the type of leader you want to see in the White House and Capitol.
I think Paul did a fantastic job on the network that PBO refuses to get on. What a tough network FOX is. It is too bad that are so rough on the “LIBS”.
