Several Polk County Republicans went to Amery, WI to meet President Obama during his Empty Bus Tour through Wisconsin. The President’s bus, much like his promises, was empty because Obama refuses to come into Wisconsin himself; sending a skeleton crew of campaign workers to calm the crowd of less than 30 people. This is a far cry from 2008 and I’m happy to report nobody fainted after seeing the bus pull into the parking lot.
Paul Ryan, however, has energized the base in Wisconsin and around the country. He is giving Republicans a lead in the polls for Romney/Ryan. The comeback team, Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan, is bringing hope for a brighter future to America – promising leadership, military strength, financial responsibility, and a recall of President Obama’s failed healthy care tax.
