Milwaukee — The Milwaukee Professional Firefighters Association today announced their endorsement of Governor Scott Walker’s re-election campaign. The Milwaukee Fire Department consists of approximately 1,000 firefighters and is responsible for protecting the citizens of Milwaukee from fire hazards and emergency fire situations.
“Scott Walker’s success as Wisconsin’s chief executive and his commitment to public safety gives us clear indication that he should continue as our governor. He understands the issues, and is a strong advocate for the overall welfare of our communities–communities, that we as firefighters are so dedicated to serving. As an association that works hard to protect families and the community we live and serve in, we are proud to stand with Scott Walker as he moves Wisconsin Forward,” president of Milwaukee Professional Firefighters Association, Dave Seager, said.
