An unbelievable law was passed in the dark of night on July 31, 2010, which will effectively make it illegal to speak freely about politics in Wisconsin ~in any way ~ including: blogs, facebook, online videos, tea-party rallies, phone calls, etc.
An unelected board of judges decided to circumvent the constitution and the rights of the people of Wisconsin to get control of the conservative movement and those evil tea party rallies that everyone is going to.
Basically, if you do anything that costs over $25, that is political, you have to register with the Government Accountability Board (GAB), pay $100, track all expenses related to your political speech, and submit reports on what you’ve been up to.
Wait, I thought we were in the United States of America?
We are still trying to figure out what everything means in the bill and how to respond, but what we do know is that they are trying to intimidate people into silence and submission. We can not allow that to happen in America. We need to stand up and continue to do what’s right.
