Senator Ron Johnson held a Town Hall in St Croix Falls on August 31st, at the Saint Croix National Scenic Riverway Headquarters Building.
He truly is a citizen legislator, who addresses our over spending, federal debt, and economic issues. His manufacturing background has taught him to attack the root cause of a problem, not mere symptoms, and his years in the private sector have taught him the importance of strategy, not just tactics and the need to establish common ground with all involved.
Ron serves as the Chairman of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. That committee has passed out 49 pieces of legislation and a couple have been signed into law. He also serves on the committees on the Budget; Commerce, Science and Transportation; and Foreign Relations.
Ron addressed the Iran deal and said that he will vote against it. He also discussed the need to harden our electronic grid from electromagnetic pulses (EMP) and or geomagnetic disturbances (GMD). Ron addressed our deficit spending projections by the Congressional Budget Office that in 30 years our federal government will add an additional 100+ trillion dollars to the 18 trillion dollars that we currently have.
Ron finished by talking about his vision for America.
