Candidate: Deanna Boettcher
Running for: the Polk County Clerk of Court
Primary Date: Tuesday, August 12, 2014

Deanna Boettcher

In 1996 I made Polk County my home where I raised my two beautiful daughters.  I have 19 year’s experience working as a Probation/Parole agent. I have been actively involved with the Salvation Army and Criminal Justice Collaboration Council of Polk County WI. This has given me the opportunity to launch professional working relationships with countless members in our community. I have the confidence those relationships will continue as Clerk of Court.

Clerk of Court defined as the “clergy” to the courts who maintains the records and legal standings, issues writs and maintains a check and balance system. I know I have the experience, knowledge and education to carry out the role and duties of Clerk of Court.

Importantly, Clerk of Court is the “heart” of the court house where those needing assistance will feel received. As Clerk of Court, I will continue to foster a positive environment. I will be working with professional and dedicated employees that carry out the responsibilities to meet the needs of the courts, stakeholders and customers of our community. I will be honored as Clerk of Court to work with them.

Please consider casting your vote for me in the next election for Polk County Clerk of Court.

Electing from within sometimes have its disadvantages of which can lead to a stagnation environment that doesn’t evolve or mature naturally. As a person coming from the outside there are benefits of new ideas.  They say, “the first step on a better path could or can be started by someone who comes from the outside”.
I am taking this opportunity to ask the public to elect me into Clerk of Courts.
Thank You, Deanna Boettcher
